Trip to Benaras..

Our first field visit was in our very second week into the service; rather training... We were supposed to go to Varanasi(BSB) by road via Sultanpur. At Sultanpur we saw something which we couldn't even understand.. Our very own CD went on & on but it was all in vain as we could do nothing but feel bad for ourselves for not being able to understand the sights properly..

At Varanasi, our visit to Diesel Loco Works was meant to show us how the Locomotives(Engines) are built.. Even here we had difficulties as many were from Arts background..

It is said that being married is a punishment, but it was found to be the other way around.. Our friends who were married(haves) were given wonderful accommodation facilities as compared to us (the have-nots) as we had to stay at a dormitory. Somehow we managed the horrendous experience, thanks to some sight-seeing. During the remaining time, we had been to Assi ghat, Sarnath and few places within Benaras..

Start of a new life...

As had been destined, ending up as a civil servant happened. But not as an IAS officer, or an IPS officer, rather as an IRTS officer..
I started having doubts with regard to the prospects of this service, till I came across this PSYCHO JATAYU.. Yes, that's his name, but the one which we use to refer to him.. All his friends would know who I'm talkin about.. He is my buddy, Arjun..
When i came to know that i was to report before 13th December, i started to panic as i hadn't recieved my offer letter by post with the first class pass.. So as the destiny had it, i had to come by air with a printed copy of the offer letter..
When i reported at IRITM lucknow, I had no idea what i was going to end up as. When someone says its not that bad, ITS NOT THAT BAD. When all say its not that bad, THERE"S SOMETHING BAD.. SO still waiting to find out that BAD..
